Take and assault one of the contemporary entertainment fetishes, the video game: "FOV01" by Marco Mendeni. Thanks to a decoding with which the functionality of the original game is transmuted, it carries you from recreational dimensions to islands of disturbing hypnotism, to tell in the best way possible the world in which we are migrating. Born in Brescia, now commuting between Milan and Berlin, Mendeni has long been dedicated to artistic research that experiences the contamination of materials, computer animation and 3D production. All of this with a particular focus on the process that leads the videogame medium to become a social medium.///////////////////////////////////
Prendere ed assaltare uno dei feticci dell'' entertainment contemporaneo, il videogame: “FOV01” di Marco Mendeni, grazie ad una decodifica con cui la funzionalità originaria del game viene trasmutata, trasporta dalle dimensioni ludiche a isole di inquietante ipnoticità, per raccontare al meglio il mondo verso cui stiamo migrando. Bresciano, oggi in pendolarismo tra Milano e Berlino, Mendeni è da anni dedito ad una ricerca artistica che sperimenta la contaminazione tra materia, computer animation e produzione in 3D. Il tutto con un focus particolare, quello sul processo che porta il medium videoludico a diventare un medium sociale.
Laurea in “Nuove tecnologie per l’arte” biennio laurea specialistica, dipartimento di multimediale, Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera.
